What is fascial tissue?
Fascial tissue refers to all connective tissue in the body, from tissue as large tendons and ligaments to the microscopic cellular matrix that creates the structure of our cells. Fascial tissue covers and permeates all muscles and organs. All fascial tissue in the body is connected through a complicated web. Our fascial tissue affects our posture and biomechanics. In order for our bodies to operate at optimal health, fascial tissue must be able to function in the ways in which it is designed. It must be springy, pliable, well lubricated for glide ability and effective in force absorption and load distribution. Our fascial class aims to address fascial tissue at all these levels.

Power Fascia Training

Dance Meditation

Find your individual healing journey through dance, leaving stress behind, and welcoming peace and joy into your heart.
This class will explore movement through a meditative practice. We will discover the shapes our body desires, moving away from judgment, allowing ourselves to dance freely. Using breath work and a calming slowness, we will unwind the nervous system in a safe and inclusive environment.
Delving into deeper emotions as we continue our journey trusting our bodies and the space around us, we will begin to open ourselves to healing energies, leaving us feeling transformed.

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MSBR) Mindfulness is the awareness that emerges through paying attention, on purpose, to the present moment and non-judgmentally. This kind of attention nurtures awareness, a different mode of mind to our usual busy, doing mode. With this practice comes greater clarity, patience, acceptance and ease. It allows us to gain access to our own powerful inner resources for insight, transformation and healing. ~ Jon Kabat-Zinn
